The Los Angeles Dodgers have been all business at home this week. They rallied back from an early 3-0 deficit on Monday night to win 4-3 on a pinch-hit homer from Miguel Rojas in the seventh, then followed it up with a 1-0 shutout win on Tuesday, with Shohei Ohtani providing the only run of the game with a solo shot while the pitching staff did the rest of the lifting. The Tampa Bay Rays, meanwhile, have been held to just three runs across the two games and haven’t scored since the fifth inning on Monday night.

Now the Rays face the toughest possible ask to avoid the sweep: Ohtani on the mound, in his own ballpark, in the middle of one of the best seasons on the mound in baseball. Tampa Bay will counter with Shane McClanahan, who has put together one of the better comeback stories in the sport after missing all of 2024 and 2025 due to injuries.

Rays vs. Dodgers Odds at Hard Rock Bet

With Ohtani on the mound looking to wrap up a sweep, Los Angeles once again jumps out as a home favorite:

  • Moneyline: Rays +140 | Dodgers -165
  • Run Line: Rays +1.5 (-155) | Dodgers -1.5 (+130)
  • Total: Over 7.5 (+105) | Under 7.5 (-125)

Best Bet for Rays vs. Dodgers

Below is our pick of the day for Rays-Dodgers, powered by Hard Rock Bet’s Stats Hub. Tap the ‘Stats Hub’ button in the app’s top menu to explore all available insights.

Taylor Walls Hits + Runs + RBI Over 0.5 (-130): We’re rolling with Taylor Walls to contribute today, and his recent numbers provide a strong case. Walls has gone over this total in all 10 of his last 10 games, including both games against the Dodgers the last two nights. Through June, he’s slashing .259/.344/.259 with seven hits, four runs scored and two RBI across 27 at-bats, showing he’s found his footing in the 9-hole. He’ll need to be up to the task with Ohtani on the bump, but it’s worth a stab considering the ongoing streak and reasonable price on this prop.
